ROBERT MYERS, MD

Interventional Radiology

Robert Myers earned his BA in literature from Davidson College, then completed his medical degree from the University of Kentucky. He then stayed at UK to complete a one-year internship in General Surgery. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency followed by a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in 2005. He is board certified in both Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.  He is currently the Chairman of the Department of Radiology at St.Joseph’s and Candler Hospitals, and the President of Savannah Chatham Imaging.

He is an expert in:

  • Ablation of solid tumors in the liver, kidney and bones. 

  • Chemoembolization and radioembolization (Y90) for liver tumors. 

  • Varicocele Embolization 

  • Kyphoplasty

  • Port Placement

DAVID KNOPF, MD

Body Imaging

David Knopf received his medical degree from Emory University. He completed Diagnostic Radiology training with focused training in CT and Ultrasound-guided intervention in 1985 at Emory University Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. He is also a radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

DANIEL O'MARA, MD

Interventional Radiology

Dan O’Mara received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He also completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He joined Savannah Chatham Imaging in 2018. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is licensed to practice medicine in Georgia and South Carolina. He Is an expert in varicocele embolization and biliary interventions including cholangioscopy.

JAMES "TY" YECKLEY, MD

Neuroradiology

James “Ty” Yeckley was born and raised in Savannah and received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Memorial Health University Medical Center and then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where he served as chief resident. He also completed a fellowship in Neuro Radiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He joined Savannah Chatham Imaging in 2020. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is licensed to practice medicine in Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

James Ty Yeckley, MD

DIL PATEL, MD

Neuroradiology

Dil Patel received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2015. He completed a surgical internship at the University of Colorado in 2016 followed by his Radiology residency at Loyola University in Chicago in 2020 where he served as Chief Resident. Subsequently he returned to the Medical University of South Carolina for his Neuro Radiology fellowship which was completed in 2021. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. In addition to diagnostic neuroradiology/ general radiology, Dr Patel has a special interest in Image guided spine interventions including kyphoplasty, tumor ablation, and pain injections.

ROBERT "HUNTER" DUNLAP, MD

Interventional Radiology

Hunter Dunlap received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2015. He graduated AOA. He completed a surgical internship at Swedish First Hill Hospital in Seattle in 2016. He finished his radiology and interventional radiology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2021. He is board certified in interventional and diagnostic radiology.

He is an expert in: 

  • Prostate Artery Embolization 

  • Uterine Artery Embolization

  • Chemoembolization and Radioembolization (Y90) for liver tumors. 

  • Biliary Intervention

MILES LOVE, MD

Musculoskeletal Radiology

Miles Love earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah and subsequently completed an Internal Medicine internship and radiology residency at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Love finished his training by undergoing an intensive one-year Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship at Emory University and joined Savannah Chatham Imaging in 2022. He is board certified and licensed to practice in Georgia and South Carolina.

JUN S. LEE, MD

Neuroradiology

Jun Lee received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago.  Subsequently he completed his diagnostic radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at the Emory University School of Medicine. He joined Savannah Chatham Imaging in 2022. He is board certified and licensed to practice medicine in Georgia and South Carolina.

Jun Lee, MD

RADONNA PIRKLE, PA-C

Physician Assistant

RaDonna is a graduate of South University in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and has her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. She is board certified by the National Committee of the Certification of Physician Assistants. She has been practicing in Radiology at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System since 2001. Her extensive Radiology background goes back to 1991 where she completed her undergraduate degree in Radiologic Technologies at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is also a Board Certified Clinical Densitometrist and studies Bone Density from the leaders in the field around the world. She performs imaging studies, invasive procedures, and DEXA interpretation for SCI and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.
